Report: Russia’s Otkritie mulls firing 20% of staff in ‘16
MOSCOW, Mar 1 (PRIME) -- Russia’s financial group Otkritie is considering cutting 20% of jobs in 2016, Chairman of the Board of Directors Vadim Belyayev told channel Rossiya 24 in an interview broadcast on Tuesday.
“It is hard to say, it will depend on how events will unfold but I think that this can mean about 20%,” Belyayev said.
Belyayev separately said that Otkritie may acquire non-financial organizations, including during privatization of state assets. “In such moments, when assets are a bargain, we can acquire non-financial assets, some different projects. We are looking even at privatization, which has been announced and can take place in the following years.”
